Arizona Youth Kicking Camps


Coach Zauner's Arizona Kicking and Snapping Camps
for "POP" Warner and Middle School Specialists


Renowned Kicking, Punting and Snapping Coach, Gary Zauner is now offering Kicking and Snapping Camps for "POP" Warner and Middle School Kickers and Snappers. 

Coach Zauner, former 11 year College and 13 year NFL Special Teams Coordinator who has now coached, consulted and trained 120 plus NFL and CFL kicking specialists, including 25 PRO Bowlers is now hosting camps in November and May in Arizona and July in Wisconsin for "POP" Warner and Middle School Specialists. 

These (1) ONE Day (2) Practice Kicking and Snapping Camps are designed to make specialists more accurate and consistent.   My goal as a teacher with a Masters Degree in Education and former high school, college and NFL coach is to emphasize fundamentals and techniques with regards to the ART of Kicking and Snapping a Football. 

Coaches, if your looking to improve your percentages of kicking (2) two point conversions during "POP" Warner games than you need to look to improve the form and technique of your snapper and kicker.  If you don't have a snapper or kicker than develop one.  The Coaches Edge To Winning - Is The Kicking Game!

These camps are NOT for Ranking and Ratings. My philosophy is if you want to be improve your ranking or rating at showcase events, than improve your technique.

In the last seven years Coach Zauner's Snapping Programs have now produced 17 Snappers on NFL and CFL Rosters.

With the success Coach Zauner's Snapping Programs have had in the last seven years with College and NFL Snappers, he has now started a High School Snappers ONLY Camp here in Fountain Hills, Arizona.

Coach Zauner's Adds New Division To Develop Tight Ends as NFL Snappers

"I Believe a Tight End Is The "PERFECT ATHLETE" to Develop Into an NFL Snapper"
Coach Zauner - As a former 13 year NFL Special Teams Coordinator, the 2nd and 3rd Tight Ends must be an integral part of the Special Teams Unit when putting together the Final 53 Man NFL Roster. NFL GM's, PRO Personnel Directors and Special Teams Coordinators are fully aware that playing Tight End requires the rare combination of the strength and blocking skills of an offensive lineman with the speed and hands of a wide receiver.  A Tight End's ability to either backup at his position, contribute on Special Teams, punt and field goal snap or eventaully develop into the starting snapper significantly improves his value to the team. 
This is why Coach Zauner has hired Billy Khayat to head up his new Tight End/Snapper Coaching Division. Billy not only coached and played Tight End in the NFL, but also was a long snapper. He knows from personal expierence that snapping at an NFL backup or starting level could have significantly lengthened his NFL playing career.

I've been associated with Coach Zauner for the past several years as an NFL assistant and as a part of his PRO Development Camps, College Senior Combine and his Free Agent Combine.  During this time, I've watched him build quality relationships with his specialists though not only his personality, but with his ability to give instruction specific to the intricacies of snapping, punting and kicking. I made the decision to join his team full-time after several years of watching him consistently develop specialists into accurate, dependable and valuable players on the field. His passion for instructing these historically under-coached positions resonated with me as a former Tight End.  Since first stepping on to the playing field in 1987, I have been either playing or coaching Tight End. I learned quickly that the position and those playing it were an afterthought despite the importance of their role.  With great enthusiasim, I have been on a crusade to give Tight Ends the respect that they hae earned.

In the last five years Coach Zauner has started working with more Arizona High School kicking, punting and snapping specialists.  Every year  the specialists are some of the top performers in the state.

This year Dylan Brown (Chandler Hamilton High School) was Rivals Kicker of the Year and Jeff McGuire (Pinnacle High School) Rivals Punter of the Year.  Also, Turner Bernard (Mountain Ridge High School) Under Armour Snapper Award.  

Note:  Dylan will be playing in the Blue / Gray All Star Game in Dallas, Texas in December.

Jeff McGuire (Pinnacle) is only a junior.  I have been working One on One Punting and Kicking Lessons with Jeff for now two years.  I believe he will continue to improve and be an outstanding prospect in 2016.

Garrett Boyd (Seton Catholic) Quarterback and Punter is also an excellent College Punting prospect.  He has several colleges looking at his talent as a combination quarterback / punter.

Also, another specialists Jace Christmann (Houston Memorial High School) received an award as one of the top combo punting, kicking specialist in Texas 6A football. I have been working with Jace for the past two years and he has become one of the best combo kickers / punters in Texas.  There are several big Universities looking at him because of his combination potential.
