The coaches and scouts from all the leagues benefited from attending the Free Agent Specialists Combine. The Canadian League Football, CFL coaches scouted combination punters and kickers. Eddie Johnson former Idaho State and NFL punter/kicker is playing for the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Eric Wilbur former University of Florida punter/kicker is currently playing with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. And Colt David former LSU kicker went to camp with the Montreal Alouettes.
However, the UFL head coaches and special teams coaches in attendance took good notes and kept track of the best talent either signing with NFL teams or not. Many of the top performing kicking specialists were invited to private UFL workouts around the country.
I have checked with all of the kicking specialists and the UFL this year signed (8) kickers, (7) punters and (5) snappers and (3) utility & snapping players. 13 of the 15 starting UFL kicking, punting or snapping specialists have attended either my 2009 or 2010 or both of my Free Agent Specialists Combines. Many of the Specialists have also taken One on One Lessons and/or attended my PRO Development Camps. (Started the 1st Game of the 2010 UFL Season)
