Pat MacDonald Signs with Carolina

Congratulations to long snapper, Pat MacDonald of the Calgary Stampeders for signing a free agent contract with the Carolina Panthers on Wednesday of this week.

Canadian players have a short window of opportunity to tryout and sign with NFL teams if they are the property of an CFL team. Pat played for the 2008 Grey Cup Champion Calgary Stampeders.

Pat was here in Scottsdale for several One on One Snapping Lessons the past 10 days trying to refine his snapping skills and become more consistent.



On Monday Pat flew to Seattle for a workout with the Seattle Seahawks and on Tuesday was on another flight to Carolina.




On Wednesday he called me and told me the good news. Congrats to Pat and best of luck! Pat sent me a very nice and complimentary email thanking me for my help and coaching assistance.
