Now, everybody has kicking camps; Chris Sailor, Paul Assad, Louis Aguiar, Pelfrey's Kicking Services, Cole's Kicking Camps and a bunch of others.
My One on One Kicking Lessons are my speciality. However, I like doing the River Falls Kicking Camp because it's my way of giving back to the state of Wisconsin. I was born and raised in Milwaukee Wisconsin and attended the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse. I know a large number of high school coaches in the state and they like to send their kickers to that camp.
Through the years the River Falls Kicking Camp has had several great kickers in attendance: Gary Anderson, Adam Vinatieri, Neil Rackers, Eddie Murray, Faud Reviez, Tony Franklin, Jan Stenerud and Jim Bakken. We have also had an excellent group of punters: Mitch Berger, David Zastudil, Mike Saxon, and Ralf Mojsiejenko.
This year the NFL Players that will be in attendance are: Matt Katula, University of Wisconsin and the Baltimore Ravens who will be working with the snappers.
Derrick Frost a graduate of Norther Iowa University and the Washing Redskins will work with the punters.
Taylor Mehlaff was going to work with the kickers, however he was unable to get away from his obligation with the New Orleans Saints. Therefore, Steve Hauschka who just finished his senior year at North Carolina State and is a free agent with the Minnesota Vikings will work with the field goal kickers.
As I said earlier, this will be my 31st year doing this camp. Below is a photo of the young Coach Zauner, many years ago. I will handle all the classroom and video instruction and the three Pro's in attendance will do demonstrations on the field plus work with the kickers, punters and snappers in attendance at the camp.
Coach Zauner today with just a little less wild look. See, if you coach kickers too long, your more apt to lose your hair.
